Abstraction

The paintings in this gallery are entirely intuitive in their development. Some have emerged from considering various states of mind, color memory, or watching shifts of atmospheric light on sky and water. Othersare inspired by walls and surfaces that have earned their patina with time, history, and human markings.  All have deeply layered surfaces where images develop through the addition and subtraction of many types of media.
